
Sandra (Propriétaire)
Sandra is Canadian, and spent her childhood growing up on her large family farm in Canada. Pioneered by her father, an immigrant from Hungary along with his Austrian wife, he started from humble beginnings to create the largest cattle and grain farm in northern Manitoba. After graduating from university with a degree in Urban & Regional Planning and Architecture, Sandra worked in Toronto and then on projects in Europe, South Korea and China, where she met Mark in Beijing.

Mark (Propriétaire)
Born in Asia to English parents, Mark grew-up abroad following his parents on their various assignments around the world before finally settling in the UK. After finishing at Rugby School, Mark went farming in Zimbabwe. He then joined a top FMCG company and after more than 30 years, Mark has worked all over Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe. It was during his assignment in China that he met Sandra.
Mark first came to Château Méaume as a young boy in 1980 while on a holiday in France. He fell in love with the estate and made it his dream to one day come back and buy it, which he did in March 2019.
Mark & Sandra have three children, who are now at various stages of their schooling, degrees or work experience.

Bruno (Oenologue)
After getting his degree in Biology & Earth Sciences at the University of Bordeaux, Bruno wanted to pursue a career in wine. After starting in Pomerol he went abroad to broaden his knowledge by working at a number of wineries in Argentina. Upon his return he joined the Rolland Laboratory and quickly established himself as a respected Oenologue in the Bordeaux region. He currently advises a number of prestigious estates around Bordeaux and in Spain.
Bruno started advising Château Méaume in 2010 and has been instrumental in developing its wine profile by working with the terroir.
